The
P10K Mission
Our mission is to mobilise 10,000 people who will by physical presence or material support create an International Observer Force
in Palestine of not less than 1,000 people. We shall endeavor to prevent injuries to human rights and/or document
injuries to human rights and to support a bi-lateral ceasefire and a genuine resolution of conflict.
It
is fair to say that virtually all Palestinians recognize the benefit of
having International Observers and support the concept of the P10K FORCE.
P10K's
Mandate
P10K is an application of International Law,
specifically it is an application of the
Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR);
'Whereas recognition of the inherent dignity and of
the equal and inalienable rights of all members of the human family is
the foundation of freedom, justice and peace in the world,...’ -
UDHR PREAMBLE
'....every
individual and every organ of society, keeping this Declaration constantly
in mind, shall strive by teaching and education to promote respect for
these rights and freedoms and by progressive measures, national and international,
to secure their universal and effective recognition and observance...'
- UDHR Preamble, paragraph 8
Why?
Because the Palestinian/Israeli conflict, by virtue of the explosive nature
of the conflict, combined with Israel's illegal nuclear weapons program
compels us to act. Because the United Nations has failed miserably in
its primary mission of facilitating peaceful resolution of conflict.
